Bhatkal: October 25, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) "If we look at the politics of entire country at this time, we will see the politics of hatred everywhere. The present state and central government is engaged in election campaign instead of helping the people. That is why people should teach such governments a lesson and use their precious vote with these thoughts in mind during the next elections", said Advocate Tahir Hussain, State President of the Welfare Party of India. He was addressing a press conference at Bhatkal's party office this afternoon.
Elaborating on his post-flood visit, he said that there were many flood-affected areas in Kalaburgi where no help had been received from the state government so far and no central government representative had reached there. He lashed out at the State and central Governments, saying that they were all behind the votes and were making false promises by spending money on electioneering instead of helping the people in this critical time.
Advocate Tahir Hussain scoffed at the promise of free vaccine against the code at an election rally in Bihar, saying that if the Prime Minister had the same concern for the people, the Prime Minister would have mentioned it in his address to the nation, but he did not. On the contrary, it was announced at an election rally, which shows the thinking of the Prime Minister and his party.
He said that only 10 to 20 per cent assistance has been provided by the government in the recent floods in the state and other things do not hold any reality.
He appealed to the people to understand the tricks of these politicians and teach them a lesson when the opportunity arises.
Dr. Naseem Khan, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Asadi, Mr. Younus Ruknuddin and other leaders of the party were present in this press conference.
