Peace meeting held in view of incoming Eid-ul-Fitr

10th July 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Like previous years, this year too a peace meeting with community leaders was called by the police department in order to maintain peace and harmony in the town on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Community leaders of all religions participated in the meet that was held at Circuit House and gave assurances to maintain peace and harmony during the festival. Speaking at the occasion, DySP Ayappa and Circle Inspector Prashant Naik appealed to the leaders of all the communities to maintain peace and harmony and to use social media to maintain peaceful atmosphere in the town. -ARF
