Peace meeting held in view of incoming Eid-ul-Adha

Bhatkal: A peace meeting was held Saturday evening at the police station in view of incoming Eid-ul-Adha. Speaking at the occasion, Bhatkal CPI Belli Ayappa appealed to the leaders of both the community to maintain peace and harmony and to keep youngsters under control.
Giving details about it, he said that some youngsters post pictures and videos of animals on the social media which hurts the feelings of other community thereby endangering peace.
Encouraging them to solve minor issues among themselves with good understanding, he said that if there are incidents where animals run away during sacrifice and if this hurts the feelings of other community, then such incidents should not be publicized using SMSes, rather, such issues should be solved amicably amongst ourselves.
