Peace meet held in Bhatkal ahead of Ter Habba

Bhatkal - 10 April, 2011: A peace meeting was held here at Bhatkal Circuit House on the eve of Ter Habba. The meeting was presided over by Bhatkal AC, Dr Anuradha. Interacting with the gathering, she appealed to maintain peace during the festival. She also said that maintaining law and order should not be restricted to the police department but it is the duty of all citizens.

On this occasion Bhatkal MLA Mr J D Naik, Mr Ansar Shabandri (Chirkin), Mr Inayatullah Shabandri, CPI Guru Mathur and several community leaders were present.
