Peace meet held in Bhatkal ahead of Eid celebrations

Bhatkal 3 June 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Ahead of Eid-ul-fir celebration, a peace meeting along with the heads of various communities was called at IB of Bhatkal here on Monday, 2 June. Preceding over the event, Assistant Commissioner Sajjid Ahmed Mulla addressed the gathering and said, "There is a need for co-operation from all the communities to celebrate this festival peacefully." Tahsildar MB Patel also addressed the gathering and stressed on the maintaining peace and harmony in the town during the eid celebration. DySP Valentine D'Souza, CPI KL Ganesh, Bhatkal Namadhari Samaj President MR Naik, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Vice President Ateequr Rahman Muniri, Members of TMC and heads of various association were present during the meeting.
