Paswan to meet Krishna over Fasih's disappearance

New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Monday expressed concern over the mysterious disappearance of Bihar engineer Fasih Mahmood from his home in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia over a month ago. Paswan said he will meet External Affairs Minister SM Krishna this week over this issue. Krishna has not yet uttered a word over the incident. Fasih was picked on 13th May but his whereabouts is still not known.

PaswanRam Vilas Paswan along with party leaders Abdul Khalique and Amanatullah Khan addressing a press conference on illegal detention of Muslim youths in Delhi on 18th June 2012 said he has sought appointment with Krishan, and mostly likely he will meet him on 21st or 22nd June.

Addressing a press conference at his residence on 18th June, Paswan, who is former union minister and currently member of Rajya Sabha, condemned illegal arresting of innocents in the name of terrorism. He said Supreme Court guidelines are being brazenly violated by the police and intelligence agencies. Paswan had called the press conference over the illegal detention of Muslim youths in last six months. He also announced to launch agitation on the issue in different states.

The press conference was also addressed by family members of such youths who have been picked in terror cases.
