PashaGovernment whip and Sangareddy MLA Thoorpu Jayaprakash Reddy has lashed out at Majlis MLA Pasha Quadri for claiming ownership of Charminar, Assembly building, Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Talking to the media here on Friday, Jagga Reddy said it was painful that Quadri was speaking as if these historic monuments were constructed by his party. Stating that these were constructed with people's money, Jagga Reddy said every one should condemn such remarks. He said to claim ownership of these monuments, they were not Jagirs of Majlis or Razakars and not even Jagirs of Nizam. He warned Quadri not to make such insane remarks again. The Sangareddy MLA also demanded that the police register a case against Pasha Quadri and ensure that he does not talk like that in future. He said it was strange that the MIM MLA had also spoken about Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. He said the government should immediately respond and take action against Quadri for talking ill of Mahatma Gandhi. He also demanded that Quadri tender an unconditional apology for his controversial remarks on Gandhiji. He warned of serious consequences if Quadri insulted Gandhiji. Stating that Quadri had questioned why Gandhiji's statue was erected in the Assembly building constructed by the Nizam, he said it was an insult to the father of the nation and urged the DGP to take action against the MIM MLA.
