Parshuram wins 'Lion taluka level Kabaddi Tournament'

Bhatkal - 08 May 2011: A 2-day Kabaddi Tournament organized by Lion was concluded here at grounds opposite to KFC with Parshuram winning the final against Lion with a huge margin. Total 24 teams have been participated in the tournament. Lion defeated Katteveera in the first semi-final while Parshuram defeated Cosmos in the second semi-final. The final match was one sided affair in which Lion scored just 15 points against Parshuram's 39. The winners Parshuram received cash prize of Rs 10,000/- and a trophy. Best catcher and Best rider award went to Lion's Jawwad and Hammad respectively while Parshuram's Manoj adjudged Best Best all-rounder of the tournament.

The closing ceremony was graced by Mr Mohammed Yunus Kazia, Bhatkal DySP Mr M Narayan and Mr Sajjad Kola.
