Paramilitary force's constable missing with his rifle since three days from Sirsi checkpost

Sirsi 06 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) An on- duty police constable of central paramilitary force who was deputed on election duty in Banavasi of Sirsi has been reported missing from the Banavasi check post since three days.
Ganesh Karat, a resident of Uttar Pradesh and a constable of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was deputed on night shift at Dasanakoppa checkpost in Banavasi of Sirsi on 03 May, around 12 am he went in the nearby place citing nature's call and but didn’t return.
Reports say that Ganesh carried 5.56 MM Insas Rifle and 5 magazines (about 100 live bullets) when he went missing.
An immediate search operation under the supervision of full armed assistant commandant was launched but the team returned without any traces or clues about his whereabouts.
A case has been registered at Banavasi Police station and the further investigation are underway.
