Admission Process : The Karnataka State Paramedical Board issues the Admission Notification in the month of July / August to fill the Government College seats in the four Government Medical colleges - (1) Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore (2) Mysore Medical College, Mysore (3) Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli & (4) Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary as well as the Government Quota Seats in Private Medical Colleges recognized by the Paramedical Board. Selection Process : All candidates who apply are given ranks based on their marks in Science in 10th / 2nd PUC. Central Counselling is held at the Government Nursing College Campus, Victoria Hospital, Bangalore where seats are allotted based on merit in Government and Private Recognized Paramedical Colleges across Karnataka. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, Cat 1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B. Fee Structure A Government college seat will cost approximately Rs.3000/- while a Government allotted seat in a private college will cost approximately Rs.7,000/-. The fee structure varies college to college in private colleges. If you miss the Government Counselling then you have to vouch for a Management quota seat which will cost 2-3 times the normal fees. 2. Certificate & Vocational Paramedical Courses 1.
