Online game 'PUBG' fever in Bhatkal; local gamers organise online tournament for Bhatkal players on Aug 19

Bhatkal 14 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Player Unknown's Battle Ground (PUBG) has taken the internet and the gamer community with storm lately, with people from all streams have joined the online addictive game and are seen flaunting their achievements in their respective circles. The addiction of the game has gripped the youngsters of Bhatkal too, who are now busy preparing for the online tournament of the game, that will be organised for them by a group of local gamers. The organisers, (namely two local gamers Mohammed Razeem and Syed Naseh) on Tuesday announced the tournament through their official Instagram account (@PUBGM_Bhatkal), the tournament will be played on August 19 and the winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1200/- while the runner up and second runner will take away cash prizes of Rs. 800/- and Rs. 400/- respectively. A squad of four players will pay Rs. 160/- as the entry fees, while a team of two will pay Rs. 80/- to enter the competition. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com the organiser said they are expected participation of 100 players from in and around Bhatkal. "People from Bhatkal who are residing abroad can also participate in the event" they added. Several WhatsApp and Instagram chat groups have been created by players of Bhatkal where they share their achievements and organise similar games, but one with cash rewards will be the first of its kind in the town that will be played on Aug 19.
