One person electrocuted, 2 injured in Murdeshwar

Murdeshwar - 19 June 2011: One person electrocuted and died on the spot and two injured when they came in contact with 11 KV transmission line while working on an electric pole. The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Saniyara Naik.

According to the sources, the incident took place at a compound of a private Hospital where they were working as an electrician.

Large number of people gathered soon after the incident and blamed hospital management for negligence. Meanwhile police arrived at the scene and controlled the situation.

A case has been registered in the Murdeshwar police station and the investigation is underway.
