one killed in Manki road accident

Bhatkallys News Service/ Rizwan Gangavali Manki 16 Oct 2016: In an road mishap on Manki National Highway an Auto-rickshaw collided with an Pick-up tempo resulting in an death of the Pick-up tempo driver on the spot after he lost his control over the vehicle and collided with an electric pole, following which an electric wire fell on the Pick-up van and the driver lost his life after electric shock and burn. The pick up van was said to me on the way from Bhatkal to Kumta. The driver has been identifies as Muhammad Qasim Abdul Qadir (42), a resident of Kumta. While the two co-passengers managed to escape just on time to save their lives. As per the sources, he accident took place on Sunday evening, when the pick-up van was on its way to kumta, tried to dodge an Passenger Auto, which was crossing the road. The driver lost his control and ended up colliding with an electric pole. The vehicle was set on flame in no time as an 11 KV electric wire fell onto it. A case has been registered in Manki Police station
