One killed as truck topples in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 14 April 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau)One killed as a truck carrying construction bricks over turned while taking a sharp curve here at Benanduru of Bhatkal Taluka on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Madev Narayana Naik (46), a resident of Chowtini of Bhatkal. The incident occurred when a truck carrying construction bricks to Benanduru, the truck got toppled while negotiating a curve here. As a result Madev who was sitting with the bricks behind the truck sustained severe injuries. He was soon rushed to Manipal, however he later, breathed his last there. A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
