One killed, another injured after wild pigs attack bike in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 11 April 2018: One person was reported dead while another injured after a group of wild pigs attacked a bike at Nagavalli, both the bike riders were reportedly on their way to Devghar here on Sunday late night.

The deceased has been identified as Saivechin Dominic (58), while the injured has been identified as Jose Korian (62).

The incident took place on the outskirts of Bhatkal Taluka, When Jose Korien and pillion rider Saivechin Dominic were on their way to Devghar from Nagavalli, all of a sudden a group of wild pigs attacked the bike after which Domenic  lost his control over the wheels and collapsed and sustained severe head injuries. Soon both were rushed to Bhatkal Taluk government Hospital, where Domenic was declared brought dead.

A case has been registered at Kargal police station.
