One dead and two injured in a road accident at Sirsi

Sirsi 23 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) One person died and two other sustained critical injuries after two bikes crashed into each other here at Nirnahalli of Sirsi taluk on Tuesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Sitaram Bhat (26). While the injured victims are Shridhar Naik(19) and Satish pataghar(18) of Hunesehalli of Sirsi taluk. According to the sources, two students Shridhar and Satish were riding back to their home on their bike around 6.00 pm near Nirnahalli allegedly over-speeding, when they rammed into another bike that came from the opposite direction. Ganesh, who was coming from the opposite direction succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while the Shridhar and Satish sustained severe injuries in the incident, and were rushed to the nearest private hospital for treatment. CPI Girish reached the spot and conducted initial investigations followed by a registration of case at Sirsi rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
