One day workshop on Machine Learning organised at AITM

Bhatkal 31 March 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management(AITM) held a one-day workshop on “Machine Learning” organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering here  on Saturday 30 March. Mr. Shreevyas H M, HOD, Department of ECE, GEC Karwar was the resource person of the workshop. He stressed about the importance of Machine Learning and briefed about several Machine Learning algorithms to the students during the event. Shreevyas has been identified by Google as a facilitator for its Machine Learning Crash Course for colleges in Karnataka and Goa. AITM Principal Dr. Mushtaq Bhavikatti addressed the occasion and advised the students to upgrade their skill set with trending technology to increase their employability. VTU Exam toppers and achievers were felicitated during the occasion. HOD Dr. T. M. P. Rajkumar welcomed the gathering while Prof. Shivanand Kulkarni introduced the resource person and Prof. Tasmiya Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks.
