Officials seize liquor worth Rs 65,000 from Bhatkal railway station

Bhatkal: Liquor worth Rs 65,000 was confiscated from Bhatkal railway station recently by railway police officials, but the crook escaped and could not be arrested.
Officials said that the alcohol was being transferred from Goa to Mangalore hidden in a toilet of the leading bogie.
On this occasion railway police officials Santosh Gaonkar, Ramesh Parveen, Maruti, Anand, Manju Naik, Manju Gonda and others were present.
