Now a cancer surgeon to be available in Bhatkal

Bhatkallys News Bureau/Ismail Zaorez Bhatkal 17 Feb 2018: Cancer check-up and treatment will now be possible in Bhatkal for the locals and they will not have to visit corporate hospitals outside Bhatkal to get the treatment and check-up for cancer done. Dr. Eugene Rent, Cancer surgeon Mch. Surgical Oncology will visit Bhatkal and will be available for consultation at Diagnomed starting 17 February 2018 and will visit Bhatkal on third Saturday of every month between 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Dr. Eugene is trained from Tata memorial hospital Mumbai, and currently heads the department of Oncology at the AJ Hospital and Research Centre Mangaluru. Dr. Eugene is specialist in Gynac-Onco (Cancer of Ovary, Uterus, Cervix, Breast Cancer, Oral and Thyroid Cancer), Cancer of intestine and Uro-Oncology.
