North Kanara Muslim United forum executive Meeting held

Bhatkallys News Service/ Sajjad Quazi Karwar 05 November 2016: Annual executive meeting of North Kanara Muslim United forum was organised here on Saturday morning at Urdu welfare trust office Karwar. Several key executive members from across the Uttar Kannada District attended the meeting. The issue of Uniform civil code was also discussed in the meeting and it was decided to lend unconditional support to the guidelines they receive from All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) and support their cause. And it was also decided to conduct awareness programs on uniform civil code across the units of the Forum. The meeting was presided over by Imtiyaz Umar Shaikh, he requested members to effectively work towards getting the whole Muslim community united, as Unity plays an vital role in tackling any efforts of right wing to bring the community down. Present on the occasion were Mohsin Quazi, Gen Secy. of the forum, Dr. Haneef Shabab from Bhatkal, Ali Janab from Kumta and several others.
