Non-Muslim girl wins gold medal in Open Islamic Exams

Bhatkal – 23 Nov 2012: A non-Muslim girl from Mysore, Ms Rashmi Shrinivas clinched gold medal for the third consecutive time in Open Islamic Examinations conducted by Moulana Abul Hasan Academy, Bhatkal. It may be noted that, Bhatkal’s Moulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi Islamic Academy conducts Open Islamic Exams every year at different study centers across India. This year around 64 thousand students including large number of non-Muslims have participated in this exam and Ms Rashmi was declared this year’s topper and awarded Gold Medal at a function held at Farooqua Dental College’s Tipu Sultan Shaheed Hall in Mysore. It may be recalled that, In 2008 one more non-Muslim girl, Ms Bharti from Bhatkal was awarded with ‘Muniri Award’ for clicnching top spot in this examination. Bhatkallys News Service
