NMAMIT emerges as over all champions at VTU's Intercollegiate Single Zone Cross Country Championship 2019 organised by AITM

Bhatkal 27 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Bhatkal organised the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi’s Intercollegiate Single Zone Cross Country Championship 2019 at Anjuman ground here on Wednesday, Feb 27. The cross-country marathon began early in the morning at 6:30 am, which was flagged off by AHM’s General Secretory Ismail Siddique here at Anjuman ground. More than 200 students from about 60 Engineering college that comes under VTU took part in this 10km cross country marathon. In men’s category Nagaraj Sidappa of South East Asian College of Engineering and management Studies, Bengaluru and in women’s category Jyothi of Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology(NMAMIT), Nitte bagged the 1st place in the cross country Marathon. NMAMIT, Nitte won the overall championship in the event. Bhatkal DySP Valentine D’souza distributed the certificates and medals to all the winners of the marathon during the prize distribution ceremony. Additional Secretary Ishaque Shabandri, AITM college board Secretary Abubaker Ali Kasimiji, Principal Dr. Mustaque Bhavikatte, Vice Principal Prof. H. M.
