New Shams School's students donate Rs. 76,000 for Kerala relief fund

Bhatkal 18 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The management of Idara Tarbiat-e-Ikhwan run New Shams School on Tuesday donated about Rs. 76000/- collected by its students for the Kerala relief funds of the Jamat-e-Islami Hind, here at their campus on September 18.
Ameer-e-Maqami of Jamat-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal unit Mujahid Mustafa collected the cheque for the staff and students of the school led by school campus secretary Talha Siddibapa.
Mustafa thanked and congratulated the students on their effort, while also lauding the school's efforts of encouraging students to take up such initiatives.
Mohammed Hasan s/o Talha Siddibapa a seventh grade student alone accounted for the collection of over Rs. 9000/- and was awarded 'Best relief worker'.
School PR Secretary Moulana Azeezur Rahman Ruknuddin, Head Master Raza Manvi were present along with students and staffs during the handing over of the cheque.
