New Shams School organize investiture ceremony

Bhatkal 10 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Idara Tarbiat-e-Ikhwan's New Shams School organized a investiture ceremony for it elected leaders for the academic year 2018-2019 at its School Campus here in Bhatkal on Tuesday July 10.
Bhatkallys Media Society's chairman Mohsin Shabandri, AITM President Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatte and Bhatkal Taluka PT officer Shrikant Pai were present as the guests of the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the recitation of holy Quran following which students presented the School Anthem while grade 3 students sung motivational song to lift the spirits of newly elected leaders.
Earlier through an internal election, Mohammed Ruknuddin was elected Head Boy of the school while Nadir Ahmed Ikkeri, Abul Khair and Abdus Salam SJ were elected Discipline, Cultural and Sports leaders respectively.
Suhaim KM and Asim Khayal were nominated as the members of the Library committee, Samad and Maan were nominated as the members of Deeniyath club, while Abubaker Siddibapa was made the Editorial captain of the school.
Speaking on the occassion Mushtaq Ahmed Bavikatte stressed students upon developing soft skills and further quoted it saying "To be successful in the fast moving world today you should seek knowledge at school, develop skills within yourself and also have an positive attitude towards what you are doing. Without any of these ingredients it is very difficult to succeed in the modern corporate world".
Mohsin Shabandri while addressing the students urged the management of school to prepare the students for what is coming in the future and not just confine the students with what is happening today. He added "What is the latest technology today might not even exist after 5-10 years or when these kids will enter the corporate and competitive world, so it is necessary for us to prepare them for what will be the latest technology after 5-10 years from today, and it is not a herculean job but all this data is easily accessible on the internet".
Mohsin Shabandri further offered the students his services and asked them to feel free to consult him regarding career counselling, technology among others.
Shrikant Pai was also felicitated during the ceremony by the school authorities for his services and achievement as a athlete himself and the PT officer of Bhatkal Taluka.
Principal of the School Mrs. Fahmida Khizer administered the oath to all the leaders, house leaders and assistant house leaders.
The ceremony concluded with the presidential remarks by the School Board Chairman Qadir Meeran Patel followed by vote of thanks by the campus secretary Talha Siddibapa.
