New police chief for Uttara Kannada district

Bhatkal, August 24, 2019 (Bhatkallys News Bureau): That was the strong message of newly appointed Superintendent of Police for Uttara Kannada district, Shivaprakash Devarj, who came to Bhatkal for the first time after being appointed SP. Speaking to the media representatives at Bhatkal Town Police Station, the senior police official assured the department's support for people of all faiths. He also expressed his intention to maintain law and order in the district and contain any disturbances attempted at disrupting peace.
