RIYADH: Two new Haj and Umrah applications in English, Urdu and Hindi were launched in Riyadh recently.
The application named “Haj-e-Mabroor” contains three books on Haj and Umrah, nine speeches, one Haj and Umrah presentation and 21 articles. The second app has been named “Deen-e-Islam” and consists of 175 articles dealing with different aspects of life, 75 speeches, and seven books.
Muhammad Mustafa Azmi, the renowned Hadith scholar and King Faisal Award laureate, launched the mobile applications created by Najeeb Qasmi. In a speech, Qasmi said users can find them in the PlayStore or AppStore by simply typing “Najeeb Qasmi” or “Haj-e-Mabroor” and install them in two minutes.
Renowned scholars have urged Muslims to use the application, including Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani, rector of Darul Uloom Deoband, and Maulana Mohammad Zakaria Sambhali of Nadwatul Ulema, Lucknow. These testimonials are part of the apps. The English and Hindi version of the website www.najeebqasmi.com and the English and Hindi translation of Haj-e-Mabroor, a pocket-size Haj book, were also launched by Azmi.
