"Never prioritise sports over academics" Bhatkal CPI Ganesh KL advises IAUHS students on annual sports meet

Bhatkal 24 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal’s Islamia Anglo Urdu High School (IAUHS) organised annual sports meet for the students at its school ground here on Monday December, 24.
Bhatkal CPI Ganesh KL, was present at the inaugural event of the sports meet that was presided over by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen president Abdul Rahim Jukaku, and was attended by General Secretary Ismail Siddique, Abdul Wajid Kola and other staffs and members of Anjuman.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatkal CPI added that sports is a part of curriculum and that the students should always be active in sports in order to coup with the academic stress and pressure.
“The students should show interest in sports as it helps them balance their minds, but this doesn’t mean they neglect studies and academics and only focus on sports, there should be a balance of all this factors in students’ lives”. Ganesh added.
In his presidential address, Abdul Rahim Jukaku, stressed upon playing sports with the sportsman spirit and wished the students luck for the sports that were to be played later in the day.
Several individual and team sports competitions were organised after the inaugural event, preceded by march past by the students.
