NCC cadets from Karwar recieved warm welcome in Bhatkal

NCC-1 (1) Bhatkal – 17 Jan 2013: National Cadets Corps (NCC) students from Karwar College received warm welcome at Bhatkal Bundar. The students are on a 10 day Ocean Sailing Expedition which started on 13th January from Karwar and it will end on 23rd January at Karwar. As a part of this assignment, students reached Bhatkal Bundar yesterday evening after visiting Bellekere, Todalli and Honnavar. Later in the evening the team left for Malpe from where they will return back to Karwar. Bhatkal Tahsildar, Dr Madhukeshwar welcomed the delegates. Speaking on this occasion, Dr Madhukeshwar encouraged the students to join NCC. He said, ‘NCC provides many opportunities for students to build their career. There are many Govt schemes for NCC students which needs to be utilized properly.’ On this occasion Chief Instructor of Karwar Naval Base Mr Sanjeev Kumar, Bhatkal Rotary Club President Mr Sadullah Damda, Commanding Officer Mr Jenson Pinnacle, CPO Maharana Pratap, P K Prasad, Mohan Lal, Leading Assistant Mahaputra and Superintendent Kiran Pai were present.
