Nawayath Mehfil holds its annual general body meeting

25 May, 2014 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Nawayath Mehfil held its annual general body meeting on Friday at Tanzeem hall.  On this occasion, Sadique Asarmatta (General Secretary - Nawayath Mehfil) presented the annual report that highlighted the activies of the organization in the past year. Abdullah Lanka (President - Nawayath Mehfil) presided over the meeting. Jan Abdurrahman welcomed the audience while Aftab Kola (chief guest) complimented the organization for making an awareness about Navayath language. An impressive rendition of Nawayath poetry by Abdullah Rafiq enthralled the audience. The poetry session was conducted by Abdullah Rafiq.  The programme ended with vote of thanks by Moulvi Abdul Aleem Quasmi. - ARF
