Navayath girl in Oman notches up 9.24 GPA in BE biotechnology

MUSCAT (Bhatkallys News): It is a proud moment for Bhatkal and the Navayath community as Fathima Sabahat, daughter of S. M. Syed Syed Hasan, completed her bachelor of engineering in biotechnology notching up 9.24 GPA in her final (VIIITH) semester. A student of Waljat College of Applied Sciences, Muscat, which functions in academic partnership with Birla Institute of Technology, a reputed deemed university located in Mesra, Ranchi, India, Fatima Sabath has always been an outstanding student throughout her career. Says Aftab H. Kola, BMJ-Muscat vice-president, “Fathima was brave enough to venture into an offbeat but emerging field as biotechnology industry is posting good growth worldwide. Last two semesters she stood first in her college and has always performed brilliantly throughout her schooling as well as college career.” She studied in Indian School, Wadi Al Kabir till 12th. She stays with her parents in Seeb, Oman.
