National School Murudeshwar's students selected for district-level Pratibha Karanji

Nov 23, 2014 | Abdul Hafiz Khan | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a moment of pride for National High School Murudeshwar, two students of the school have been selected for the district-level Pratibha Karanji competition after they emerged victorious at the taluka-level Pratibha Karanji held at Srivali School Shirali. Mohammed Suam, son of Abu Ala Gangavaly secured first position in the gazal competition and second position in the recitation competition while Mohammed Tabeeb, son of Ahmed Fakhru stood first position in the mimicry competition. They will both participate in the district-level Pratibha Karanji competition. Muslim Education Society Murudeshwar's teachers and board members lauded the achievement of the students and expressed best wishes for the district-level competition. Prathiba Karanji is an innovative program where cultural and literary competitions are conducted at cluster, block, and district and state levels under plan schemes for primary and high school students. It provides a common platform for students for various competitions in which successful children are given certificates of appreciation and prizes and selected students are sent to higher level competitions. - ARF
