National High School kicks of their annual sports event

December 17, 2014 | Abdul Hafiz Khan | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: National High School Murudeshwar's annual sports competitions were kicked off today in which students of higher primary and high school students participated in various sports including running, high jump, long jump, one-minute show, three-league running, hammer throw, potato race, etc. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony held at the occasion, Master Mohammed Shafi said that along with education such competitions are organized to create fitness and agility in students. He urged students to excel in education and to avoid external influences in their study. After the inaugural ceremony, various sports competitions were organized which saw whole-hearted participation from students. Team games such as kabaddi, volley ball, etc were deferred for other days. - ARF
