NAAC team visits Anjuman Degree College

April 03, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A three-member National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer team visited Anjuman Degree College for assessing the institute for re-accreditation. The team stayed in the college campus for three days and inspected the facilities available in the college. They interacted with Prof. A M Mulla, Principal of the college, on admission process, performance of students in examinations, research facilities, activities in departments, students and faculty achievements, research publications, and awards won by students and staff. They visited all the departments and verified the records. Speaking to press reporters at a press conference held today in college, Prof. Jamaadad said that the accreditation is of primary importance for the development and growth of the institution. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an organisation that assesses and accredits institutions of higher education in India. It is an autonomous body funded by University Grants Commission of Government of India head-quartered in Bangalore. - ARF
