Mushrooming Fruit Shops beside Bhatkal NH-17 worries residents

Bhatkal - 09 Sep 2011: Small fruit shops which sell fruits like Watermelon, Apple, Orange and Banana etc. along with Bhatkal NH-17 are growing day by day. One such shop is located outside Ex-minister, late S M Yahya Saheb's residence near Bhatkal Civil Court. Many local residents alleged that, apart from selling fruits, these shops are involved in many illegal activities like selling liquors, betting, gambling etc.

Bhatkallys.com requests concerned authorities to keep eye on these shops and take appropriate action against those involved in such illegal activities.
