Muscat Eid Milan 2011 to be held at Indian School

MUSCAT, August 26,2011 (Bhatkallys News):The much-awaited Eid Milan 2011 by Bhatkal community in Oman will be held on eid day at the Indian School Al Ghubra, 20 kms from Ruwi. It may be recalled that Oman authorities have already announced August 31 (Wednesday) as eid day. Samiullah Barmavar, prominent naiti poet, will grace the Eid Milan 2011 to entertain the crowd which is expected to be around 600. The fourth edition of Muscat Eid Milan, under the aegis of Bhatkal Muslim Jamat, Muscat, will begin at 8.30pm with dinner followed by the main programme which will include skits, Samiulla Barmavar's session, raffle, etc. A committee has been formed to organise the event: Sada Salim, Aftab Kola, Qamar Merchant, Lowna Abubaker, Suhail Ekkeri, Riyaz Merchant (convenor), Wajid Damudi (deputy convenor), Khalid MJ, Abdul Bari SP, Barmavar Husain among others.
