Murdeshwar sports club sends relief goodies for Kerala flood victims

Murdeshwar 26 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A local sports club of Murdeshwar, Al-Wafa has dispatched a truck full of goodies for the Kerala flood victims on Saturday 25 August. The truck full of goodies left Murdeshwar for Kerala on Saturday along with a delegation of members of the sports club. The sports club had organised a collection of good drive for the flood victims in the neighboring state, which lasted for about seven days. Zareef, a member of the sports club while speaking to Bhatkallys.com said "We organised a collection drive for seven days wherein we collected several items that has now been dispatched for Kerala in a truck with our delegation". "Several other organisations of Murdeshwar and Jamat's of Gulf also helped us in the collection drive" added Zareef. Items collected during the collection drive include Bed sheets 150, 500 blankets, towels, and over 4000 pieces of various clothing items, which will now be distributed at the relief camps in Kerala.
