Murdeshwar: Road accident on NH66 kills biker

Zaorez Shabab Murdeshwar 01 Nov 2017: Ramesh Kailu, a resident of Gadag district who was on his way to Karkala where he was employed, from Manki town met a tragic accident on Bailur NH66 of Murdeshwar and later breathed his last while he was being taken to Udupi hospital. According to the sources, a government bus heading to Honnavar from Bhatkal collided with the bike on which Ramesh was travelling, resulting in Ramesh sustaining severe injuries. The victim was rushed to the Taluka Government hospital Bhatkal for initial treatment and was sent to a Udupi hospital for further treatment, but unfortunately Ramesh breathed his last before reaching Udupi. His body was brought back to Bhatkal Taluka Government hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered at Murdeshwar Police station and further investigation in on.
