Murdeshwar : Miscreants threw stones at moving car

Murdeshwar – Two unidentified miscreants threw stones at moving car here at Murdeshwar highway near Kamath Hotel. The incident occurred at around 11:00 pm yesterday near Kamat Hotel when two bike riders pelted stones at maruti car and disappeared from the scene. According to the sources, Abdul Gafoor, working as a driver at RNS School Murdeshwar was returning home after visiting his relatives in Tengingundi, when he reached near Petrol bunk, two youths on a bike followed his car and attacked with stones, as a result the car's wind screen got damaged but the driver escaped unhurt. It may be noted that, some months ago, similar incidents were happening on Bhatkal highways, but after strict action from local police this was stopped. Bhatkallys News Service / Rizwan Gangavali
