Murdeshwar is calm and normal after Sunday's incident

Murdeshwar - After Sunday's incident here at Dodalli area of Murdeshwar wherein some houses and shops were damaged allegedly by members of majority community after a dead body was recovered from a compound belonging to minority community, the situation is under control and the normal life is back on track. According to latest information available to us, shops and business establishments are running as usual and no any untoward incidents have been reported from any part of the town. A special investigation team is setup under the leadership of Bhatkal DySP Mr. M Narayanan and the investigation is going on. District SP Mr Raman Gupta has appealed the people of Murdeshwar to maintain peace and harmony. He also said that the investigation is heading towards right direction and the culprits will be brought to book soon.
