Murdeshwar gets new Police Circle, separated from Bhatkal jurisdiction

Bhatkal: In a administrative decision, the Karnataka government has officially separated Murdeshwar from the Bhatkal rural police circle and established a new Murdeshwar police circle to improve policing and streamline law enforcement in the region.

According to the government order, the newly formed Murdeshwar circle will include both Murdeshwar police station and Manki police station, which falls under the neighbouring Honnavar taluk.

With this development, residents of Murdeshwar and Manki can now directly reach out to the Murdeshwar circle police office for any assistance. The official landline number for the new circle office is 08385-226813.
