Murdeshwar cops reunite missing differently-abled minor girl with parents

Bhatkal: 28 December,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 15-year-old differently-abled girl who went missing at the tourist town of Murdeshwar was safely traced and reunited with her parents following action by the Murdeshwar police.
The girl, identified as Sanjana from Chennai, had visited Murdeshwar with her father, Swaminath, for sightseeing. During their visit near the temple premises, she got separated from her family and remained missing for nearly three hours, causing panic among her parents. Sanjana is unable to speak and has visual and hearing impairments.
After receiving information about the missing child, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramachandra Hegde of the Murdeshwar Police Station immediately launched a search operation. Through sustained efforts, the police traced the girl and ensured her safety.
After completing the required verification procedures, the girl was handed over to her parents. The family thanked the Murdeshwar police, particularly ASI Ramachandra Hegde, for their quick response and compassionate handling of the situation.
