Murdeshwar: 16 year old dies in a road accident

Bhatkal 19 May 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In a tragic road accident between a car and a two wheeler, a teenager died on the spot while another man sustained severe injuries here at NH-66 near Beena Vaidya school of Murdeshwar on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Manoj Devadiga (16) while the injured victim has been identified as Vinayak Devadiga (27), both resident of Mavinkatta near Shirali. According to sources, when Vinayak was riding his Activa vehicle and was on his way towards Honnavar it collided with oncoming car that came from the opposite direction. As an impact of the accident Manoj died on the spot and his body was shifted to Bhatkal Government Hospital for post-mortem while the injured was rushed to the nearest hospital. A case has been registered at Murdeshwar Police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
