Mundgod forest officials seize teak wood worth 1.5 lac after raiding three houses; four arrested

Mundgod 30 September 2018: (Bhatkallys New Bureau) The forest officials arrested four people for illegally storing Sagawan (Teak wood) worth Rs. 1.5 lac in their houses here at Janageri village of Mundgod on Saturday September 29. The detained have been identified as Shridhar Shivram Hegde, Fayaz Ahmed, Aman Jaffersab, Kustubdin Mohammed Hanif, all resident of Mundgod. Working on a credible information, the forest officials raided three of the houses here and seized sagawani wood worth Rupees 1.5 lac and arrested four during the raid.
