The narcotics which was estimated to be worth Rs 3.4  crore in the market went missing from the customs godown in Sewri in 2014. Now, after three years police have closed the case by filing an 'A summary' (classifying the case as true, but undetected) Mid Day reported. The drugs were part of a nearly 200-kg stash of ketamine seized by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) from Andheri in June 2011. Police had arrested Abhijeet Konduskar of Konduskar Travels was arrested along with others in connection with the case. Only in 2014 it came to light that some 34 kg of the drugs had gone missing. On inspection by the DRI additional magistrate it was found that 13 packet of the seized drugs were intact while the seven others were torn and 34.14 kg ketamine was missing. This is not the first time rats have been blamed for an unsuspecting robbery. Earlier this year Bihar police had blamed 'liquor loving' rats for the mysterious disappearance of some Rs 9 lakhs worth liquor seized after it was declared a dry state.
