Multiple institutions organised free medical Check-up camp in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 23 February 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau)Bhatkal MLA Sunil Naik on Saturday inaugurated the free medical check-up camp organised by the Department of Collegiate Education, Government First Grade College Bhatkal, Youth Red Cross Wing, Adarsh Hospital Udupi and Taluka Working Journalist Association Bhatkal here at Government College, Bhatkal.
After inaugurating the check-up camp, MLA Sunil Naik Spoke to the audience and said, “The students of today’s generation need to be determined about their future. And in order to do that they should be healthy first.”
He also added that, “ Money should not be the primary motive in student's life. Knowledge along with the health plays an important role in anybody’s success.”
College Development Committee member MR Naik also addressed the event and spoke about the importance of developing healthy habits along with the Academics.
Udupi Adarsh Hospital Doctor M.S. Urala and Taluka Health department official Erayya Devadiga also expressed their views on the occasion.
The event was presided over by Government College Principal Dr. Dastagiri Ranjansaheb Hayyala.
The Doctors of Adarsh Hospital, Udupi later began the free health check to the students of Government college.
On this occasion Uttara Kannada District Working Journalist Association President Radhakrishna Bhat, Taluka Working Journalist Association President Bhaskar Naik, Shivani Shantaram and others were present.
