Mr. Bhatkal body building championship on April 07

Bhatkallys News Bureau Bhatkal: Bhatkal Taluka Body Building Federation will organize 'Mr Bhatkal body building championship on 07 April 2018 at the Kamalavati Auditorium in Bhatkal, informed President of Bhatkal Taluka Body Building Federation, Moulana Azeez-ur-Rahman at a press conference held here on Sunday, April 1. He further informed that BJP youth leader Sunil Naik will inaugurate the event while Valentine D'Souza (DySp & International body building champion)will be the Chief of Guest at the event. Asked if D'Souza will pose as body builder during the show Azeez-ur-Rahman replied "We want him to and we will try to convince him for that". 50 Participants from over 10 registered gyms of the federation will participate in the event from across the Bhatkal Taluka while 70 years old Narayan is also expected in the body show. "People from different communities will participate in the event, and with this we want to send a message of our unity in the region to those who have been trying to spread communal hatred" added Moulana Azeez. Venkatesh Naik, General Secretary of the Bhatkal Taluka Body Building Federation said, "We want to promote body building and fitness among the youth community as those involved in body building, are less vulnerable to unethical activities and addictions of Tobacco, Smoking, Alchohol and other such activities". "We conducted a similar event in 2016 which was a great success and we are hoping for this event to do well too" added Venkatesh. In 2016 Manjunath Naik of Ultimate Fitness Gym won both the awards of 'Mr Bhatkal' and Best Poser event. This year too there will be two awards (Mr. Bhatkal, Best Poser) up for the grab and the participants will look forward in bagging it. Bhatkal Taluka Body Building Federation now aims to host the district level body building championship in the coming years.
