Moving car catches fire in Kumta; occupants escape unhurt

Kumta 15 August 2018: A car reportedly with the registration number of Goa caught fire while running on NH-66 near Devgi bridge of Kumta Taluka here on August 15. According to the sources initially the smoke started to appear from the engine as the moving car’s engine overheated, resulting the car catching fire and the car went to flames only to be left with ashes. However, no casualties were reported during the incident as the the occupants of the car managed to escape the car within time.
