Bhatkal - 24 Aug 2012: After a hectic search operation which started from Murdeshwar by local residents with the help of fisherman and coastal security police, the dead body of Moulvi Ismail Ruknuddin was finally recovered on Friday evening from the place where he was reportedly drowned.

According to the family sources, the Namaze-e-Janazah will be offered after Isha Namaz and the burial will take place at Magdoom Colony grave yard.

Meanwhile, frustrated residents staged a protest in front of the office of the Coastal Security Police accusing the agency of not deploying high speed boat for rescue and search operations.

In response, the coastal security officials justified their stand saying that they don't have permission to use high-speed boats during monsoon.

The protesters urged the social organisations and Bhatkal NRI's to help buy boats which can be deployed at beaches during holidays for rescue operations.
