Moulana Riyazur Rahman Rashadi passed away in Makkah

Bhatkal - 20 Nov 2011: Eminent Islamic Scholar, Imam & Khateeb of City Jamia Masjid, Bangalore, Hazrath Moulana Riyazur Rahman Rashadi (60) passed away today morning in Makkah. He was survived by 3 daughters and a son. Moulana has served 34 years in City Jamia Masjid Bangalore and he was a founder of Jamiul Uloom.

Moulana has recently visited 'bhatkallys.com' office on 11th, December 2010 when he was here to attend a program organized by Labbaik Nawayth Association. He was very closely associated with bhatkallys' Media Society. His Juma Khutbah and speeches were regularly uploaded on bhatkallys' audio website since from 2006.

According to Moulana Maqsood Imran, Assistant Imam, City Jamia Masjid, Bangalore, late Moulana's funeral will take place in Makkah and he will be buried in Jannatul Mu'alla graveyard tonight.
