Moulana Rabey Nadvi arrives in Bhatkal

Bhatkal -The first day of the Jamia Islamia Convention on Peace and Humanity set off on a high note as Mohammad Rabey Nadvi, President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board joined the founder of Jamia Islamia, Malpa Ali to mark 50 years of the institution.

Banners and welcome signs decked the roads leading to Jamiabad as volunteers from the Royal Club took charge of directing cars and motorbikes. Young kids representing the Al Falah Sports Club were busy serving cold drinks at the venue.

A massive team of volunteers numbering more than 250 from theLion Sports Centerwere hard at work setting out tables and chairs for a lunch. More than 7000 attendees are expected to join the forum on the first day as a special photo exhibition was also set-out.
